Hello, My name is Tanis and I am a Shodan or First Degree Black Belt in Matsubashi Shorin Ryu or Matsubayashi Ryu. I started my karate training when I was 7 and I am now 14. I have been training in karate for seven years or half my life. I started my training at Richard Lohrding's Martial Arts School until its closure. I then followed one of Sensei Lohrding's instructors, Robert Huffman when he opened the Martial Arts Training Center in my hometown of Panama City, Florida. One day I intend to open my own Karate Dojo. It will be Matsubashi Ryu Karate and I intend to call it the Matsubashi Ryu Training Center. Until then, I will design shirts and create art to help fund my Dream. |
